At Zellen we value your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this site and our service, for what purpose, how we protect it and what rights you have over it. We process your data in accordance with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Act (Law 25.326) and the regulations of the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP).
1. Data controller
The party responsible for the site, the service and the processing of data is Zellen (trade name), based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any question about this policy or your data, write to info@zellen.app.
2. What data we collect
- Account and billing data: when you sign up, your business details (including your CUIT/CUIL tax ID), contact details and the payment method you subscribe with. Payment is processed by Mercado Pago; we do not store your full card details.
- Data we process on your behalf: the WhatsApp conversations, orders and contact details of your customers that are processed in order to provide you the service. For that data you are the controller and Zellen acts as processor.
- Demo requests: the contact details (name, email address and chosen time slot) you enter when booking a demo through our scheduling tool.
- Technical and usage data: anonymous or aggregated information about how the site is browsed (page views, device type, approximate origin data), collected through a cookieless web analytics tool.
- Visit origin: which campaign or site you arrived from — the UTM parameters in the address, the ad network's click identifier if there is one, and the referring site. We tie this to a random identifier of our own, stored in a cookie on this site, which does not identify you and is never shared. Your IP address is always stored irreversibly hashed, never in the clear.
We do not collect sensitive data, nor do we ask you for more information than is necessary for the purposes described.
3. Why we use your data
- To provide and operate the service you contracted: WhatsApp agent, catalogue, orders, payments, invoicing and shipping.
- To arrange and run the demo you request, and to contact you about it.
- To answer your questions and support you with the product.
- To understand how the site and the service are used so we can improve them.
- To protect the site and the service against abuse and automated activity.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. The legal basis for processing is the performance of the service contract and, for the demo and communications, your consent.
4. Providers and international transfers
To operate the site and the service we use providers that act as data processors. Some may process data outside Argentina, applying appropriate security measures:
- Supabase — service database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting and cookieless web analytics.
- Google — the artificial intelligence models (Gemini) that power the agent.
- Meta / WhatsApp Business API (through Kapso) — messaging with your customers.
- Mercado Pago and Talo — payment and bank transfer processing.
- Tiendanube — integration with your store.
- Correo Argentino — shipping quotes and management.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cal.com — demo scheduling.
In addition, as a legal obligation we transmit the necessary tax data to ARCA (formerly AFIP) for the issuing of invoices. Each of these services processes data under its own policies.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies that follow you across other sites. Page-view analytics work without cookies and in aggregate form.
We do use our own attribution cookies: they store a random identifier and the campaign you arrived from, so we can tell which outreach efforts bring us customers. Only Zellen reads them, they never go out to ad networks or other advertisers, and they are not used to profile you. They expire after 90 days (the identifier, after two years). If you block this site's cookies, everything else keeps working the same.
Third-party tools we embed — such as the Cal.com demo scheduler — may use technical storage strictly necessary for them to function.
6. Retention
We keep your account data and your demo request for as long as our relationship with you lasts, or until you request its deletion, unless a legal obligation (for example, the retention of tax receipts) requires us to keep it longer. Data we process on your behalf is kept according to your instructions and deleted when the relationship ends. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form. Visit-origin records are deleted after 12 months.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, updating and deletion of your data at any time by writing to info@zellen.app.
Data subjects have the right to access their data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated, as established in article 14, paragraph 3 of Law 25.326. The Agency for Access to Public Information, the supervisory body for Law 25.326, is empowered to hear complaints and claims brought in relation to non-compliance with personal data protection rules.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. No system is infallible, but we work to keep your information protected.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the product or in applicable regulations. We will publish the current version on this page along with its last updated date.
